This innovative floor covering consists of wood (60%) as well as extruded and compressed plastic. Wood Plastic Composite combines the advantages of wood and plastic, making this floor weather-resistant. There is no cracking, warping or splitting. The surface is non-slip and very pleasant to walk on barefoot. The floor elements are laid as standard with a gap. On request a resilient rubber seal can be laid between the profiles. As a result, the floor is virtually dust- and water-tight.
Dust- and water-tightness is particularly important for superstructures with living space underneath. LEEB has the right solution here. The hard-wearing larchwood floor, which has a thickness of 30 mm, is laid in such a way that there is a gap between the floorboards. Then a weather-resistant, resilient rubber seal is inserted into grooves which have been cut out. The rubber seal can therefore compensate for any swelling or shrinking of the wooden floor caused by the weather. The area below remains free of dust and dirt. The balcony floor is virtually water-tight.
